'Basil at 7 Walton Rd' Andrew asked me to paint this work for Andrea. After a couple of discussions this is what we came up with. Happy Birthday Andrea!

Sketch for 'Dead Dog Bay'
I've been asked to do a work... showing their tractor (ride on mower & trailer) their Bay (Dead Dog), and thought I'd incorporate their house (which has just sold)
This is the sketch for it, wait for the progress...
'Dead Dog Bay'
Commission for Robin Radford
'Deloris & Stella'
Commissioned by Deborah Kelland & Sue Nelson, Waiheke Island, New Zealand
We asked Lois to create a piece that would signify our togetherness going forward into the future. We are overwhelmed with the energy and vibrancy that she has given us through this exquisite work. The detailing and research that she has shown us has humbled us and made it one of our most cherished possessions’.
'The West Coast'
Commissioned by Anne Robertson
The West Coast Whenever I go to the West Coast I see the old rustic sheds and think I am home so when I saw this photo I thought I would ask my talented friend to try her hand at painting it. The result speaks for itself it is so life like with real moss on the fences that I am now never far from home.
'Gannets'
Commissioned by Vicki Baker, Rarangi
'I asked Lois to paint some gannets for me in 2006, for a new home we built at the seaside in Rarangi. As a nature and outdoor enthusiast, I love the way Lois has perfectly depicted the hazy vaporous clouds above the Gannets. The realism is awesome. I feel like I'm back at the Gannet Colony in Napier whenever I see it'
'Kiwi Summer'
Commissioned by Charlie Brady & Brian Freestone, Sydney
'In 2009, we returned from living in the UK for three years. We loved coming home for the kiwi summer - but for work reasons were destined for Sydney. While on Waiheke we saw some of Lois's work with maps at a friend's house and was intrigued. We wanted art that reminded us of summer holidays and fell in love with Lois's beautifully cut out 'car and caravan' and asked her to make one for us to take to Sydney. It hangs in the lounge of our Sydney pad, and receives lots of positive comments and smiles. We love it and yes it does remind us of home'.
